Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Documented study in the area of conducting research and preparing related reports or two (2) years experience in conducting research and preparing related reports

Position Goal Conduct research, analyze demographics, coordinate needs assessments, compile profiles and assist in the development of competitive grants and reports.

Examples of Responsibilities:

Research available sources of funding

Research and develop profiles by schools, district, and other specified areas

Assist in the timely distribution of grant guidelines and deadlines

Compile specific data in appropriate formats from computer printouts

Gather information necessary to prepare specific needs assessments

Research assessment data as it relates to grant writing and proposal development

Coordinate surveys necessary for needs assessments

Analyze populations and demographics essential to the grant writing process

Assist with training in the grant writing process

Review research and practices in areas relevant to proposals

Assist in the production, duplication, and processing of proposals

Assist in the development and preparation of grants

Perform other work related duties as assigned by the supervisor
