Support Staff-Secretary III (for High School @ Boggy Creek)
H.S. Diploma or GED required
Minimum of three (3) years experience and/or educational equivalency
Keyboard Test (35 wpm)
Secretarial Math Test (80%)
Position Goal: Provide secretarial and office administration support to a Department or School in order to enable effective and efficient office workflow and operations requiring independent judgement, decision making and a high degree of confidentiality.
Examples of Responsibilities:
Prepare payrolls. Maintain records including payroll, absences, leave forms, etc.
Perform administrative duties to support site administrator, including type correspondence, screen and route calls, greet visitors, etc.
Serve as office manager to ensure smooth office operations.
Arrange/schedule appointments; maintain site administrator’s calendar. Attend meetings.
Represent site on behalf of site maintain administrator in dealing with parents' and visitors' concerns, problems and questions.
Create and maintain organized and current files.
Sort and distribute mail. Prepare mailings.
Purchase supplies, equipment and materials.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
