Instructional-ESOL Compliance/Program Specialist

Job description

The ESOL Program Specialist will focus on Dual Language support for grades 3-6. The ESOL Program Specialist will collaborate with all stakeholders to ensure student achievement. Support includes working with teachers in planning for instruction, modeling, and side-by-side coaching for instructional activities specific to the needs of both English speaking and English language learners.

Required qualifications, skills and experience

A Bachelors Degree. A Masters Degree with graduate credits in educational leadership is desirable.
A minimum of three years successful teaching experience with one of those years in ESOL.
Fluency in at least one language other than English.
Certification in ESOL or ESOL endorsement is desirable.
