Job description

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education.
A Master’s Degree is preferred.
2. A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and one year experience as grade-level chairperson, team leader, or resource teacher is desired.
3. Demonstrated competency in curriculum writing and development, staff development planning and presentation.

1. To assist with the grant writing process
2. To provide assistance with the implementation of the School Improvement Plan
3. To provide professional development to classroom teachers
4. To assist teachers with continuous improvement that leads to student success
5. To assist teachers with academic and behavioral intervention strategies
6. To assist teachers with analyzing data and creating effective instructional lesson plans
7. To visit teacher classrooms on a regular basis to provide instructional support and assistance
8. To assist schools with their Professional Learning Communities
9. To update teachers on current curriculum on instructional strategies
10. To perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Curriculum and Instruction or assigned administrator
