Required qualifications, skills and experience
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from an accredited college or university and be endorsed or certified in reading or working towards endorsement or certification.
A minimum of five years successful teaching experience in reading instruction
Demonstrated competency in knowledge of the Sunshine State Standards, scientifically-based reading research, exemplary practices in reading instruction and data analysis.
Ability to plan, organize, and direct activities for teachers
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, administration, district staff, and the public.
Experienced in facilitating adult training.
