Job description
To assist in planning, implementing and coordinating curriculum and programs at the secondary level for writing instruction aligned to Florida's B.E.S.T. Benchmarks . Support teachers’ instructional practices through professional learning, side-by-side coaching, modeling, and planning. Collaborate with Curriculum and Instruction department to create explicit writing instruction in the Curriculum Unit Plans. Provide district-wide professional development for grades 6-12.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
A Bachelors Degree with certification in Elementary Education. A Masters Degree is desirable.
A minimum of three years of successful teaching experience and one year experience as grade-level chairperson, team leader, or resource teacher is desired.
Demonstrated competency in curriculum writing, development and coordination.
