Job description
To assist the Director of Media and Instructional Technology to effectively integrate technology into all content areas in grades K-12.
Develop, plan and implement technology professional development using a variety of delivery methods.
Provide technology coaching and feedback for classroom teachers.
Disseminate information about technology with classroom teachers.
Retain a log of classroom and school visits.
Provide basic technical support for teachers on current technology programs and equipment.
Participate in the examination, selection, and/or adoption of textbooks and other instructional materials related to technology.
Research and keep updated on new technology products and software.
Investigate effective technology learning tools and strategies being implemented throughout the state and nation.
Participate in district, local and state meetings, as appropriate.
Serve as member of district technology sub-committees, as assigned by supervisor.
To perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
Bachelors Degree, or Library Media degree with teacher certification, a Masters Degree is desirable. A minimum of three successful years teaching or Library Media experience. Demonstrated experience in curriculum writing, and integration of Technology in the curricula.
