Category 2 - Electrician (Journeyman)
Formulate necessary electrical calculations to obtain permitting for new work.
Draft electrical sketches as needed to obtain permitting for electrical projects.
Install, alter, maintain and repair wiring systems, electrical fixtures and equipment.
Install and build electrical services for portable complexes and replacement of main switch gear.
Do electrical and mechanical work by repairing and replacing parts.
Use standard and special electrical tools and equipment such as volt meters, amp meters, power factor meters, wire tracer, etc.
Update Foreman, direct Supervisor, and Maintenance Planning Specialist of electrical component condition for planning purposes.
Assume the duties of the Maintenance Section Chief/Driver when assigned.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
Journeyman Electrician or higher (Non-Residential)
High School Diploma or equivalent.
HVAC Journeyman Certification or higher; Universal Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification (EPA Section 608); R-410A Certified (Within one (1) year of employment).
Four (4) or more years of successful experience related to specific trade category.
Must possess a valid Florida Driver's License.
