Job description
Provide individual and group counseling services to assist students in achieving more effective educational, social, and personal development through a collaboration with community, school personnel and parents.

Conduct psychoeducational evaluations of students referred for gifted or exceptional education (and assist in the planning and development of programs) to enable children to attain maximum achievement and adjustment in the school environment. Also conduct other activities related to student success such as development of interventions, consultations, counseling, giving presentations, and serving as member of district's crisis team.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
Master’s Degree or higher in Behavioral Health Sciences Valid license by the State of Florida under Chapter 490/491, Florida Statutes in one of the following disciplines: School Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Psychology
Three (3) years of experience in working with children in education or a related field.
