Job description
Overall responsibilities include assisting the Director of Planning Services in site management and real estate activities relating to land acquisition and disposal, leases, site development, joint-use and development agreements, and to assist in the short- and long-range planning and growth management programs. To serve as a liaison between district departments and governmental agencies regarding school planning. Primary responsibilities include the oversight and administration of multiple projects in the short- and long-range planning phases: school site selection, long range student growth, contract administration, telecommunication leases, and to make recommendations to district Leadership for real estate services. Secondary responsibilities include supervision of planning management staff in the oversight and administration of educational capacity, Geographic Information System (GIS), redistricting, and projections.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in Business or Public Administration, Urban Planning, or related area.
Five (5) years of professional or technical experience in Pupil Planning, Short- and Long-Range Planning. CAD, GIS, and/or AICP preferred.
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
