Job description
K-3 Reading Tutors can be rising high school juniors or seniors who provide tutoring to K-3 students in the foundations of reading. Tutors must have a desire to assist students in their journey to skilled reading. Candidates must be in good academic standing (ie: gpa of 3.0 or higher and be on track to complete all course requirements for graduation) and must also be in good behavioral standing (no history of out of school suspensions or expulsions and receive 2 written recommendations from a present or former teacher, or sponsor).

Applicants must submit a resume, upload a completed application form from your Literacy Coach, attend a 1-day training session, have reliable transportation to and from the work location, and be fingerprinted and drug tested (cost covered by the school district) to assist K-3 students in building foundational skills in reading.

Candidates are eligible for compensation ($11.14 per hour).
