Job description
This position is responsible for supporting and troubleshooting educational technology at the school and district level. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading, Intercom, analog telephone lines, sound system, fiber optics and data cabling. To interpret drawings, sketches, scope of works, and other design documentation for installation projects of all data network.

Required qualifications, skills and experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of three (3) years experience in technology systems installation.
Knowledge of basic construction practices and techniques.
Ability to use technology systems, test instruments and to interpret the data
Ability to initiate and maintain liaison with the contractor and the principals. To coordinate with service providers the installation of all telecommunication systems for the district.
To interpret drawings, sketches, scope of works, and other design documentation for installation projects of all data network - premise wiring, hardware, components, and devices.
To observe work in progress (on-site) to ensure that workmanship and materials used conform to desired specifications.
To examine finished product (installation) and ensure that all testing required has been performed in accordance with industry and School District of Osceola County's Division 27 Standards/Specifications.
To coordinate additional work request (change orders) as necessary.
To ensure that accurate as-builts are provided at the end of the project (installations).
To assist in the installation of technology systems, should it become necessary.
To be familiar with all governing agencies, including FCC, BICSI, EIA/TIA, IEEE standards governing technical aspects of all systems, and provide compliance with said regulations and standards.
